1. We believe in the Bible as God’s only inspired, inerrant and authoritative revelation of Himself to man in written form. 2 Tim.3: 16-17 2. We believe There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, De 6:4; Mt 5:48; Mt 28:19; 1 John 5:7 3. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jn 1:1., He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that His sinless life, His miracles and His vicarious death as the only sacrifice for the sin of the world. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our intercessor, and in His future return in glory, to: a. rapture the believer, and to, b. establish the kingdom of God upon the earth. 4. 1 John 1:1, Mt 1:18, 2co 5:21, Acts 10:38, 1John 2:2, Luke 24:39, Heb 4:14, 1Th 4:16-18, Rev. 20:6 5. We believe that men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God Rom.3:23, and that they need to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through his shed blood Rom. 5:15-17. 6. We believe in holy Christian living, and prayer see Eph 6:18, fasting 1Cor 7:5b and daily Bible reading is the step by step guide "Magna Charta" of living holy before a Holy God Joshua 1:8. 7. We believe the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person John 14:15-18, sent to dwell, guide, teach, empower the believer John 16:13, and convince the world of the wages of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment John 16:7-11. 8. We believe in the finality of Christ’s mediatorial work for the redemption of humanity and the present freedom of access to the Father 1Tim 2:5, Heb 7:25. 9. We believe in the new birth as the only means of receiving eternal life. The new birth involves a cleansing and deliverance from the penalty and power of sin. It is effectuated through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance from sin John 3:3, 5, 7; Eph 2: 8, 9; 1 Pet1:18-20. 10. We believe in divine healing for the total man spirit, mind and body and that this healing is accomplished in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and appropriated in the believer’s life through prayer Is 53:5; Mt 8:17; 1 Pet 2:24; James 5:13-15. 11. We believe in the baptisms of the Holy Spirit as an enduement of power for all believers Acts 2:4, 38, 39; 10:44-46; 19:1-6, Eph 5:18. This Baptism results in a deeper expression of spiritual fruit Galatians 5:22, 23, a greater growth in Christ-likeness 2Cor 3:18, a genuine manifestation of spiritual gifts 1Cor.12:1-11, and a more effective prayer life Rom 8:26-27. 12. We believe in the process of Spiritual Development (sanctification) wrought in the believer’s life by the Holy Spirit. The growth involves daily dying to sin and living unto righteousness Rom 6:1-23, finding expression in a holy life Heb12:24 and will be culminated at the return of Christ 1John 3:2. 13. We believe in the resurrection from the dead: a. The righteous unto eternal life b. The ungodly unto eternal damnation Dan 12:2; John 5:28,29; Rev.20: 4,6,11,15. |
